  MEMBERS ONLY ACCESS

To access the roster and fishing report sections of the website requires that you be a member and have been issued the password.  The password was issued by email.  Fishing reports are being added in a timely fashion - so check out the action.

FISHING BUDDIES

Look for a new section in “FOR MEMBERS” where we will try to facilitate link-up between those seeking a fishing partner.  We had a small level of sign-up at the March general meeting.  E-mail Bob Thomas your interest, boat and tackle facilities and contact info.  We'll try and get this expanded.

ROOKIE LIST

A Rookie list of those who have not caught that first Silver King has been posted as part of the Roster.  If you wish to have your status changed, send request.  This will help the experienced members identify those seeking help.

BONEHEADS

Funny things that happen while preparing to fish, while fishing and after fishing, can become even funnier when explained by the BONEHEAD Master  of Ceremonies.  Snitch on your fellow anglers to Dick Bonnell, 1922 Everest Pkwy, Cape Coral, FL.  33904

CLUB VHF CHANNEL

The VHF channel used by the Cape Coral Tarpon Hunters Club is 71.  Remember to keep transmissions brief and related to Tarpon fishing.  If traffic is too high on 71 we'll switch to 69 for the day with a broadcast announcement.

E-MAIL ADDRESSES

Please keep the secretary up-to-date with your e-mail address.  You will receive fishing reports and monthly meeting reminders.

SUNSHINE

Please notify our Sunshine chair Ellie Dzwil (860-664-9891) as quickly as possible whenever one of our members could benefit from a card or call expressing encouragement or condolences

TARPON RELEASE CARDS

Pick up Tarpon release cards at our meetings, from Rob Kiernan or Bob Thomas.  Cards must be mailed or dropped off to Bob.  If mailed, they must be postmarked within four days of catching your fish to be eligible.  If you chose to email the card data to Bob (within the 4 days), it is not necessary to mail a paper card if you get an email acknowledgement within 48 hrs.  All data must be complete for each fish.  It is your responsibility to turn in the cards on time to receive recognition for your fish.

You may also get a printable (PDF) sheet of 4 cards HERE. Cut on the dotted line and fold. An email form is available on the fishing report page; copy and paste into your email with all required information.
