2011 FISHING SEMINAR

Are you ready to fish for Tarpon? The 40th annual Cape Coral Tarpon Hunters fishing seminar was held February 17th 2011 at the Cape Coral Yacht Club with over 100 attending. The meeting started with club historian Bob Locker explaining the history of the club. The five seminars consisted of equipment (rods and reels) presented by Jack Zinke; terminal tackle (hooks, leaders and knot tying) presented by John Mester and Bob Locker;  techniques and safety (line, miscellaneous equipment and fish fighting techniques) presented by Jerry Geyer; preparing bait presented by Fred Millemann,  and net casting presented by Gary Jackson. These six members have 1,426 Tarpon releases between them.
